Congrats Anne!

This weekend has been so much fun...I wish it could have lasted a few more days. I'll post about friday evening, tonight. :)

Friday evening, Joy and I went to a retirement party for our former boss. When I left the clinic a couple of years ago (when we decided to pursue IVF), Joy came on board to take my place! Joy then decided, a year ago, that she was going to start homeschooling her 3 boys...so she left, as well. This doctor's office is full of some of the most wonderful, caring, funny people that I've ever met in my life. We both left with life-long friendships. Even though we aren't there anymore, we still go by and see everyone. Joy is usually good to take cookies, so they love her more than me. ha! This weekend, we celebrated the retirement of Mrs. Anne. I didn't get a chance to say this to her friday evening, but I know she reads my blog, so I will say it here.

Anne, you were the first boss that ever brought me into your office to pray with me. I was shocked and very touched by this. You knew what I was going through in my personal life and you were there for me. I'm shocked you guys kept me on, seeing that I spent most of my first year in the bathroom stall, crying. (LOL) The work atmosphere at the clinic is unlike any other and you are one of the reasons why. I love when they finally moved your office up front, right across from my window...we could talk and laugh at each other all day! Joy and I were talking last night and when we think of Anne, we think meek & quiet spirit. You were always so gracious. You weren't just a good boss...you were a Godly boss. Thank you for being such a wonderful example and such a kind friend.
