Soon it will be Christmas day...

Things are getting hectic around the Averitt home. My sister and I went out today and were true power-shoppers. We still had several people on our list to buy for. We left the house at 9:30am and didn't arrive home until 9pm. It was a fun day with my sis and I'm proud to say, I'm finished with my Christmas shopping!! I wish I had the energy to tell you what happened to us at the mall, but I'm so tired and need to get some sleep. All I will say is, it was scary and please be aware of your surroundings if you are out and about, shopping over the next two days!

I'm wrapping presents like a crazy woman...trying to finish up for the Averitt Christmas, which is here at our home, tomorrow night. Tomorrow, I have to go to the grocery store to buy what I need for tomorrow evening as well as for my family to come here on Christmas day. I'm feeling a tad bit overwhelmed, but I know once I get home from the store tomorrow and start baking/cooking in the kitchen, my nerves will settle down. I tend to want things to be perfect and I'm learning that it will never be and that's okay. :) I'm sure Alex wants to slip me a prozac whenever I'm planning a party of any kind. (LOL)

I'm going to be away from blogland for the next few days, in order to celebrate Christmas with our family and friends. I hope each and every one of you, have a very Merry Christmas!!

Love to all,
Jill

Dear Jill, I am sure that there is a special kind of blood pressure rise that only occurs round Christmas! Hope you are ok after your mall trip. Have a great time with your family and look forward to hearing all about it when you return to blogland. Hugs xxxx

Lovely card! Don't push yourself too hard, enjoy the holidays. I must confess I am the same way, though. Being a hostess brings out the unstable perfectionist in me BIG TIME. ;)
Hope you guys have a MARVELOUS Christmas, cannot wait to see photos and hear all about it.
*hugs*
