I've never been more thankful...

Well, it's official...I'm pregnant. The nausea has kicked in. I laid down most of the day, because getting up made me want to throw up. Yuck. Alex asks me every day if I'm nauseous and when I say "yes", he says, "good!" He says that means everything is normal and the baby is doing it's thing. Sweet man. I do want to say...I've never been more thankful for nausea. :)

I have the sweetest friends/family. My S-I-L, Sara, brought me these items. A pregnancy calendar, it's so neat. It comes with stickers to mark special days. She also gave me some preggo pops for the nausea and some lotions for when my belly is a little bigger. :) Thank you, Sara!!

My neighbor, Becca, gave me these items. This book is huge and covers from pregnancy-2 years old. She also gave me this cute sign, which I love! Thank you, Becca!! By the way, Becca is one of my sweet friends that is also preggers. She's due in October, so we get to watch each other's bellies grow. :) This will be her 5th child, so I may be calling her with a lot of questions, once the baby is here. :)

And last, but not least...our sweet friend, Mrs. Vae, heard that I was pregnant and she bought me these pretty tulips.

Excuse the poor quality of the pics. As I told you, we don't have a camera right now, so these are taken with Alex's phone.

I have to say, I'm usually on the giving end of the pregnancy gifts and enjoy giving with everything in me, but receiving these preggo gifts was so much fun for me. They just put a huge smile on my face. :) We're excited for the u/s on Thursday...can't wait to hear the heartbeat(s)!!

Have a great week!

Love you guys,
Jill

I've been reading for a few months now and just wanted to say Congratulations! I am very happy for you and praying for a joyful pregnancy. I had morning sickness for at least 7 months of each of my 4 pregnancies so I've tried every trick in the book. Lemons helped me a lot, I would fill a big glass with ice cold water and squeeze fresh lemon in it and I found it very soothing. Take care and congratulations again!

I absolutely loved being pregnant and I miss it terribly. Reading about your pregnancy makes me so happy for you and also brings back fond memories! Can't wait to hear about the u/s Thursday. I'll probably be out of town so if you think of it, send me a text or something so I know how it went!

Also, thanks for putting Baby B's button on your blog! I know it means the world to the family to have our prayers.

Love you girl,
Jen

girl I can feel your pain!! After trying for 18 months the first time, I was SICK AS A DOG for 18 weeks...uggg...but never more thankful and so sick of being sick at the same time! the only thing that ever helped me (and I was sick for 5 months with allllll of mine...) was Zofran. ask for some and treasure it!! It was a miracle drug for me and when I didn't take it I couldn't lift my head without puking.
Congrats!!! counting the days till Thursday with you!!!

I won't have many pointers in the morning sickness category. I've never gotten much. Not a bit with the first three, but I was a nauseous with Elijah... all day nausea, but no throwing up. I felt worse with him than I did with the others. This time I have felt bad in the morning and tired, but nothing more than 'gaggy' BUT I am happy to say, as of Thursday, it seems to have gone away!
Still insanely tired... but I haven't had the gas in days :)
I'm glad you like the book... it is my all time fave.

Ugh, I'm feel nauseous right at this very moment, too- we're like in synch or something.

I'm due in October with my 3rd so if you ever need a neutral opinion on something, chat with me anytime! The fall is full of babies-to-be! CUTE stuff that your friends gave you!!!

Zofran IT IS!!!! ask your doctor next time you see him and make sure you ask for the ones that melt in your mouth, i was super sick with Sara and nothing helped but the Zofran, i used to take atleast 3 or 4 a day so i could survive. And yes, it's a good thing you are sick because that means your hormone leves are great and baby is good to go:)
Sickness it's so annoying but so assuring, so hang in there and hopefully you will not have it for so long so you can enjoy your pregnancy as well:)

Yay, your nauseous! When I got nauseous I was actually thankful to have a symptom to assure me I was indeed pregnant. Mine only lasted 3 weeks though, so you never know you might not be sick your whole first trimester!!!
