I received my postcard in the mail, yesterday, telling me that Cottage Living Magazine is no longer being published.:(
They will honor the rest of my subscription with Southern Accents...as if that makes it better.
It's a sad day...

Jill, I got my postcard in the mail yesterday, too, and I am so sad, too! I loved that magazine and had actually given a couple of gift subscriptions to it, as well.
I don't know how they think Southern Living could ever replace our Cottage Living....

I know, I know -- it's awful. The layoffs at Southern Progress have been front page news in my neck of the woods. Those poor folks.
I didn't know that! That was a good magazine.
The only one I get these days is Real Simple. Well, and Cooking Light and Gourmet. And honestly, those are mostly for eye candy, because I don't usually do a lot of decorating or cooking.
Oh my goodness!!! That is not good news. Although I did not subscribe, I loved that magazine. That stinks!!!!

Ok, so I'm a Californian ... so I'm not sure what this magazine is all about - obviously you will grieve it so it must be good ... but I have to say from all of your pics that your house is not a cottage ... so perhaps that helps you to let it go? :)
I do love your decorating and all the energy you put into it ... I just don't know where you find all the energy.
Interesting news. I can't believe that. I used to get Cottage Living, but I also got Southern Living and few other magazines at the same time and I couldn't keep up. Finally I had to give a bunch away unread because there was no way I could read them all! :(
