Baby Bump...

So I'm finally posting a baby bump pic. I have been dreading this day. Many have asked me to post one. I guess I've put it off as long as I can. So here you go. When I look at other women that are expecting around the same time as me, they look so much smaller! My stomach never went down after the transfer...it continues to grow and I'm trying my best to embrace that. Alex absolutely loves it. He constantly reminds me that we prayed for this belly, for many years. When I think about that and get over myself and my vanity, I find myself loving it as well. I also think that once I start laying out by the pool and get a tan, I will feel even better about it. :) I am a little fearful as to what my doc is going to say on Tuesday. I'm very scared of the scale. I know that I've gained weight. I'm sure that you aren't supposed to gain this early on. We'll see. I may only be eating salad for the next 5 months.

I'm feeling really good. Day sickness is completely gone. I get tired by the afternoon and really want a nap. And when I say nap, I mean NAP. I'm not like my mom and sister. When they speak of a nap, it means they need 30 mins (at the most) to rest. When I say I'm taking a nap, it means SEE YA IN 3 HOURS. So depending upon my day, sometimes I get one ~ sometimes I don't.

I'm having crazy dreams. I dreamed that my Mom and I were both pregnant. We were so excited to be sharing our pregnancies at the same time. Alex says, I've been watching too much Father of The Bride II. I watch it at least once a week. I'm pretty sure my mom said to shoot her if that ever happens.

I've started feeling things...little flutters. I have no idea if it's the baby or not, but it's so neat to think that it might be. I told Alex that I was ready to hear the heartbeat again, so what does he do? He gets online and orders a baby doppler. We should receive it next week. It's supposed to be a really good one...like what a lot of doctor's offices and midwives use. We'll see. If it does work well, I might start having parties with all of my preggo friends...we can sit around and listen to our babies! I'm a wild woman, I know.

The weather is beautiful here. I hope to enjoy some time outside, tomorrow. I hope you have a wonderful weekend planned!

Love you guys,
Jill

You look SO ADORABLE! Love the pregnant glow too!!!

Speaking of dreams. I wanted to tell you that I had a dream the other night (keep in mind while on cold medicine) that your whole family (meaning ALL of the Weavers) were on a stage singing with the Jonas Brothers. I woke up laughing (not that your singing was bad but the sight was WAY too funny). Just thought I would share!

Jill your bump looks BEAUTIFUL and so do you! Congratulations. It's hard to let go of the many preconceptions we have before we get pregnant and just be. But you have a precious little life kicking around in your tummy and I for one, am THRILLED for you. xxxxx

Gorgeous bump!!!! And don't worry about the weight gain unless your doc mentions it. You probably wont gain gradually and you will see spikes and then nothing for a week or two. And the doppler is a good thing - can't wait to read about your experiences with it!!{{hugs}}

oh Jill you really shouldn't have shared that you are getting a doppler! I'm going to stalk you now.
I've gained a ton of weight but my doctor keeps telling me my weight is good. This last time he even used the word 'perfect.' I don't know why that is b/c I know I'll only gain more here on out. Even with my first when I gained 65, doc said it was fine. I was a lot smaller to begin with and she said if you are smaller to begin with, you can gain more... you'll just hate it afterwards. And I know that to be true too. THE most depressing time for me figure-wise was about 2 weeks after I had Abigail and I saw just how much weight I'd really put on. But I did lose most of it... right before getting pg again :) I have hungry babies who allow me to eat a LOT and stil lose :)

Oh I'm jealous of your bump! I'm just pudgy! I was so excited when it grew a tid bit this week--to confirm I have a healthy baby growing! And you do too! I'm also worried about weight gain. My doctor's very aware of the scale:(

You look like a complete doll. I agree...embrace it. I worried about looking too big at first too, and I ended up just letting it go, and enjoying my pregnancies. They go by too fast. With both of my little boys, I started feeling little flutters at 18 weeks. It was like clockwork. As for the doppler, I ordered one for both of my pregancies and they are wonderful!!! You will love it. We did miscarry are first at 14 weeks, so that was the motivation for getting it for my other pregnancies. It was such a relief for me. As for you, you will simply enjoy the beautiful sound of your little one... Have a wonderful weekend!!! Leslie

Isn't this fun? I gained a lot of weight too, but some months you and some months you don't. I'm trying not to worry about it too much!

You look adorable! How sweet of your husband to order the heartbeat dopplar! Enjoy being pregnant and dont worry about your growing belly. Your body will never be the same and you may end this thing with some "battle scars" (that's what I claim my C-Section scar & stretch marks as!) but NEVER has anything been more worth it! :) I will tell you though, everytime I pass the Motherhood store I am glad I'm not shopping there this summer! (Just wait, you'll be thinking the same thing next summer!) Although, when you arent pregnant they alway seem to have way cuter maternity clothes than when you are! :) So glad your feeling good these days, too!

I couldn't wait til' my bump was big enough that I looked pregnant and not just like I had put on weight! Your little bump is so cute and it just makes you look preggo which is VERY exciting.

LOVE the pic! You are so cute!! I'm so glad you posted it! I don't think you look big for where you are at all!!

How exciting about hearing the heartbeat any time you want. :)

You look GREAT! Absolutely LOVE the baby bump- and don't you feel bad for a minute that it's evident at 15 weeks- I had a BUMP and was in maternity clothes by 10 weeks! Yes, it was twins, BUT when they're the size of rice-- does it really matter that there's two? No! I would of been showing at 10 weeks even if it was one. :) You are beautiful.
